In the wind you climb up a snow-covered ridge towards the summit. In your hand you hold the Camp Alpina ice axe, whose tip bites into the frozen surface, providing you with the necessary support in the final metres of the ascent. The head of the axe is forged from a single piece of highly durable chromium steel and sits well in the hand. The main tip tapers towards the end, so it bites well into ice and frozen firn. The blade splits material well, the curved tip in the shape of a "T" bites into snow with its forged tip and the non-slip coating grips well in the palm. The comfortable Alpina leash strap provides the hand with comfortable support when climbing. You cut through the overhang and stand on the summit of your dreamed-of Himalayan peak, supported only by the Camp Alpina ice axe.
