The AD-10 model is derived from the 4-Max, but is smaller and lighter. The AD-10 is, however, a knife for adults without compromise. Its 101 mm long blade, reminiscent of a spear point, is exceptionally resistant to bending. The blade with hollow grind is made from S35VN steel. This exceptional American steel is not only very strong and durable, but can achieve outstanding sharpness and the blade then has a long service life. A very fine-grained powder steel with uniform microstructure offers very stable properties. It is resistant even with a very fine blade bevel, reliable, highly corrosion-resistant. It is a good choice for high-quality custom knives and tools. The CPM (Crucible Particle Metallurgy) process guarantees a very homogeneous, high-quality steel structure, dimensional stability, good sharpening characteristics and strength compared with steels produced by conventional methods. Despite lower chromium content, this steel exhibits very good results in terms of corrosion resistance. The knife handle is made from G-10 material. The handle is dominated by a substantial belt clip. The Tri-Ad Lock™ prevents automatic or accidental closure of the knife, even after natural wear over time.
