In the event of a sudden change in the weather, an injury or getting lost, a small pack in your backpack can save you from hypothermia. The Fox Outdoor emergency bivvy is a polyethylene sleeping bag coated with aluminium on one side. It protects against cold, damp, wind and heat, and weighs only around 160 g packed.

Protection in an emergency

The aluminium layer reflects heat back to your body, and when you turn it outwards, it reflects sunlight instead. Polyethylene is impermeable to water and wind, so the bag protects you even in rain and snow.

Survival kit

In addition to the bag, you get a fire steel with a signal whistle and striker and five pieces of cotton tinder. Everything fits into the carrying pouch, which has another whistle on the cord toggle.
