The Helikon-Tex OTS Ultra AeroTech meets exactly these demands – the AeroTech® technical fabric, with 4-way stretch and a hydrophobic finish, repels water and dirt, so the shorts are easier to keep clean and retain their properties longer even under heavy use.

AeroTech® fabric

The core feature of the shorts is the modern AeroTech® fabric, developed specifically for intense movement in high temperatures. This technical fabric is exceptionally lightweight, breathable, and efficiently wicks moisture away from the body, helping to maintain thermal comfort during all-day activity in temperatures from 19 °C to 40 °C.

4-way stretch

Thanks to its 4-way stretch, the fabric naturally moves with the body and allows maximum freedom of movement when walking, running, climbing, or working in the field, without limiting comfort. The low fabric weight also reduces the overall weight of the shorts and increases comfort during extended wear.

Hydrophobic surface finish

The surface of the fabric is protected with a hydrophobic finish that limits moisture and dirt from penetrating the material. This makes the shorts easier to keep clean and helps them retain their properties longer, even under heavy use.

10 functional pockets

For gear organisation, the shorts offer up to 10 functional pockets, including zippered thigh pockets, rear pockets, and a practical pocket for a phone or small outdoor gear. Reinforced edges on the front pockets allow for safe carrying of a knife, multitool, or clip-on flashlight.
