The pouch allows simple carrying of standard tourniquets, particularly CAT-type models. The pouch fastens via a simple flap with hook-and-loop fastener. A non-slip handle makes quick and intuitive opening of the pouch easy. On the side of the pouch are two elastic loops for carrying a small marker pen, which is used to mark the tourniquet after application. The tourniquet pouch can be attached via a modular MOLLE/PALS-compatible system or to a belt up to 45 mm wide, either horizontally or vertically.
