A robust three-person extreme-weather tent designed for the harshest conditions – mountain expeditions, winter trekking, alpinism and demanding trips. Husky Beast 3 is an extremely durable version for the most demanding conditions, intended for mountain expeditions, winter trekking, alpinism and extreme environments.
Construction and geometry
A freestanding double-wall tent with a triple-crossed pole structure for maximum stability in wind and under snow loads. Low aerodynamic geometry minimises wind resistance. Snow skirts anchor the tent in snow. A steeply pitched vestibule sheds snow load.
Waterproofing and materials
Polyester flysheet with PU coating, waterproof rating of 6,000 mm water column, taped seams. Floor from robust nylon fabric with a waterproof rating of 12,000 mm. The extreme version is engineered for winter and high-alpine conditions – it handles snow loads, extreme wind and prolonged rain. Ventilation panels with direct airflow minimise condensation even in winter.
