Ultralight three-person expedition tent for extreme conditions – combining minimalist weight with high durability for mountain tours, expedition hiking and alpinism. Husky Bird 3 Plus is the premium version of the popular Bird 3 model with upgraded materials for long-term use in demanding terrain.
Expedition construction
A freestanding double-wall tent with crossed polyamide poles that keep it stable even in strong wind. The tent's geometry maximises interior space while keeping weight to a minimum. A vestibule provides space for packs and cooking in bad weather.
Waterproofing and durability
Outer flysheet from polyester with PU coating, 5,000 mm water column, taped seams. Inner tent body from breathable polyester fabric. Floor from robust nylon fabric with a 10,000 mm waterproof rating. Stands up to intense rain, snow and strong wind.
Plus-version features
The Plus version offers upgraded materials compared with the classic version – more durable flysheet, stronger poles, better guy lines. Reflective elements for visibility at night, interior pockets for small items, ceiling hook for a lantern.

✓ Pros: upgraded materials over the Classic version, reliable floor waterproofing of 10,000 mm (copes with wet ground), freestanding construction (pitch it on rock without pegs), reflective elements, roomy vestibule, reasonable weight for an expedition three-berth tent.
✗ Cons: higher price than the Classic version, with three occupants the interior is tight (realistically space for 2 people plus gear), double-wall construction requires patience to pitch in wet weather.
