A protective waterproof bag included

The waterproof bag is an integral part of the tent: packed inside it, the tent survives a whole day on the water and even a capsize, and you take it out dry in the evening. That is exactly what makes the Bonelli a tent for paddling trips. The 8.5 mm durawrap poles are flexible and, unlike fibreglass, do not splinter into sharp ends if they break; a steel peg set anchors the tent reliably.

Two entrances and a vestibule

Entrances on both sides remove the crush at the door and improve ventilation, and the vestibule takes the luggage. The flysheet has a polyurethane coating with a 4,000 mm H₂O water column, the breathable inner tent with mosquito mesh keeps air moving, and the PU-coated groundsheet has a 7,000 mm H₂O water column. A storage pocket for small items and a repair kit are included.

Pros and cons of the Husky Bonelli 3

✓ Pros: a waterproof bag right in the package, two entrances, flexible durawrap poles, a 145 cm height that is among the tallest in its class, complete accessories in the package.

✗ Cons: a weight of 4.9 kg is high for trekking, the 4,000 mm water column is lower than in the trekking ranges, the steel pegs are heavier than aluminium ones, and the 280 cm length is borderline for three tall people.
