When your dog suddenly lunges, you feel the whole jolt in your hand and shoulder. The K9 Thorn lead with shock absorber noticeably softens this impact – a long double shock absorber is hidden along the entire length of the tubular webbing. When you need your dog close to you, you can shorten the lead to 65 cm with the ITW Nexus buckle.
The shock absorber takes the jolt, not your shoulder
It is based on strong 25 mm wide tubular polyamide webbing. Inside, a double shock absorber runs along its entire length – when your dog pulls hard, the absorber takes up part of the force and the jolt you feel is softer. The stitching holds even with an exceptionally strong dog, and at the opposite end from the carabiner you hold a comfortable handle.
Two lengths in one lead
The ITW Nexus buckle is located between the handle and the attachment strap. With the buckle closed, the lead measures 65 cm; when you open it, you get 150 cm in size M or 272 cm in size XL. It attaches to the collar with a brass carabiner that doesn't freeze up, so you can open it even in frost.
Warning: use the buckle only for shortening the lead. If you used it to attach the lead to a post or another object, the seam could be damaged.
