Cheese that lasts for years without a fridge is a rarity in any emergency supply or kit for long expeditions. MFH Gouda cheese in a 200 g tin is handmade in Germany from local ingredients using pasteurised cow's milk. It contains no gluten.
Long shelf life without refrigeration
When stored in a dry place at room temperature, the tin keeps for 10 years from the date of manufacture. So you will have cheese at hand to go with bread, crackers or a hot meal even where there is no fridge.
