Fairview 55 combines a 40-litre main rucksack with a detachable 15-litre day pack. The main rucksack meets the requirements of most airlines for carry-on luggage – it will fit in the overhead compartment, whilst the day pack serves as a personal item under the seat. This combination will save you the checked baggage fee and waiting at the baggage carousel. On city trips, the day pack detaches and works independently.

A panel zip allows you to open the main compartment flat like a suitcase – no rummaging from the top or unpacking the entire contents to reach a single item at the bottom. An organiser compartment for a laptop and pockets for small items make this rucksack a solution not only for outdoor use but also for business travel.

Women's fit and thoughtful carry system

The LightWire back system with AirScape® foam panel transfers the load from the shoulder straps to the hip belt, and a mesh panel prevents excessive sweating on the back. The shoulder straps and shaped hip belt are tailored to women's anatomy – it is not just a downsized men's version, but a differently shaped system with a shorter back panel and narrower straps. The entire carry system can be hidden under a cover, which you will appreciate when loading onto a bus, train or into a car's boot.
