Wave L
Wave comprises two separate air chambers, lower and upper. This allows you to regulate the pressure in each chamber independently.
A common argument against purely inflatable mats is that when they deflate, the user sleeps on the ground. With two separate chambers, this risk is significantly reduced, because if one chamber is punctured, the other will save you.
Dividing the mat into two layers also significantly contributes to increased thermal insulation, and thus to user comfort in colder weather.
The mat comes with an inflation bag, which reduces the amount of moisture "inflated" into the mat to a minimum. The bag is equipped with two valves, so both chambers of the mat can be inflated simultaneously. You connect the bag valves to the mat valves, "draw" air into the bag, close it by rolling it up, and then by pressing transfer the air into the mat. This way the mat can be comfortably inflated to a minimum of 80% of its volume.

To achieve optimal final pressure, we recommend holding the valves or inflating by mouth due to increased pressure inside the air bag.
The air bag can also be used as a dry bag and is compatible with all Pinguin inflatable mats equipped with DLF – flat two-layer valve.

Flat two-layer valve with a one-way flap for easier inflation/deflation and pressure regulation in the mat in a car.
When you open the upper layer of the valve, the mat can be easily inflated thanks to the one-way flap without loss of pressure. By pressing the flap you can gently regulate the pressure in the mat. When you open the second layer, the valve is fully open and the mat can be easily deflated.
