A parka with a detachable inner jacket is really two garments. Vintage Industries Capper does exactly that — you wear the outer layer in spring and autumn, and with the insulated inner jacket you get through winter. The adjustable waist tunes the shape, rib-knit cuffs close the sleeves and the hood can be drawn in.

Insulation

The padding holds warmth even at low temperatures, yet does not restrict movement and leaves room for a sweatshirt underneath. Standing still in the cold it warms just as reliably as when walking, so you do not have to take the jacket off every time the pace changes.

Hood

The hood has enough volume to fit over a beanie and adjusts so that it stays put in the wind without blocking your view. When you do not need it, it stays out of the way and does not bunch up under a rucksack.
