Waterproofing and breathability

The water column handles the rain that catches you on the way from the car as well as on a full-day hike, and the breathability moves moisture outwards so you do not overheat under the layer. It is the combination you appreciate in transitional weather, when drizzle and sunshine alternate through the day.

Hood

The hood has enough volume to fit over a beanie and adjusts so that it stays put in the wind without blocking your view. When you do not need it, it stays out of the way and does not bunch up under a rucksack.
