In the field, trousers rarely give way at the seams — it is a tear from a branch that finishes them. Vintage Industries Miller M65 therefore uses cotton ripstop, which stops a tear from spreading. The cut comes from the legendary M65 model, the thigh pockets are reachable even when seated, and the adjustable waistband tightens to suit whatever you wear underneath. Trousers for years of wear.
Ripstop that stops the tear
A reinforced yarn is woven into the fabric in a regular grid. When the material catches on something, the tear stops at the nearest grid line and goes no further. That is exactly why ripstop is used for field gear.
Based on the original US pattern
The cut and the pocket layout come from the original military model that proved itself in the field. Vintage Industries kept the proportions of the original and adjusted only as much as was needed to wear it every day in the city.
