The M65 is one of the few jacket patterns that have been worn for sixty years. Vintage Industries Orton M65 padded offers it in heavy cotton with an enzyme wash, so the jacket looks naturally broken in. Added to that are insulation, a hood concealed in the collar and drawcords at the waist and bottom hem to tune the shape.

Insulation

The padding holds warmth even at low temperatures, yet does not restrict movement and leaves room for a sweatshirt underneath. Standing still in the cold it warms just as reliably as when walking, so you do not have to take the jacket off every time the pace changes.

Hard-wearing cotton canvas

Dense, heavyweight cotton fabric takes rough treatment — leaning against a wall, working with tools and a rucksack on your back. It is firm at first, then softens after a few washes and adapts to your build.
