The flysheet is made from polyester with a polyurethane layer, which guarantees a water column of 4000 mm. The seams are taped with a waterproof tape. The lining is made from nylon with a polyurethane coating, which provides a water column of 10,000 mm. The poles consist of dural (7001) segments with a thickness of 9.5 mm (main poles), 8.5 mm (poles in the vestibule) and 8 mm (reinforcement above the bedroom entrance).

Description

The tent is double-walled and consists of an inner tent and an outer flysheet. The inner tent has a rectangular floor plan with one entrance on the longer side. The outer tent has a large vestibule, which can be entered via two different entrances.

Tent concept

It is based on the principle of a pole construction threaded through tunnels of perforated material outside the flysheet. After threading the poles through the tunnels, the flysheet and inner tent (which is suspended beneath the flysheet) are erected simultaneously. The advantage of this method is that the inner tent can be separated from the flysheet and the flysheet can then be erected independently, creating a single-walled tent without a floor.

Ventilation

It is located at the top of the flysheet dome. The ventilation windows are shaped so that they do not tilt in the wind. This prevents air loss even in rain with strong wind.

Tent construction

Thread the structural poles through the perforated sleeves on the outside of the tent and insert the pole ends into the brass rings on the attachment loops on the bottom edge of the tent. Then clip the buckles on the straps at ground level inside the tent and erect the tent. Secure the inner tent to the attachment loops on the inside of the tent. Anchor the tent with pegs and cords and secure with plastic buckles.
